Orientation for the perfect start to your studies

You already have your Bachelor's degree and have now decided to deepen your knowledge in the Master's programme? We look forward to meeting you! Even if it's not your first degree programme, we want to make your start as pleasant as possible and provide you with some information about starting your studies.

The orientation phase

Together with the student councils, we would like to provide you with the most important information about the organisation of your studies and student life at the beginning of your studies. We also want to give you the chance to get to know your future fellow students. The orientation phase will take place from 1 April to 3 April 2025.

After a welcome and a general introduction to the study organisation and internationalisation options, there will be programme-specific meetings with your programme representative. In the subsequent programme of the student councils, you will have the opportunity to get to know your fellow students and find out details and background information about your chosen degree programme.

The information for the orientation week will be sent to your university email address a couple of days in advance. Please check your university email inbox!

International opportunities

In addition, the Faculty offers three study programmes that are explicitly geared towards internationalisation and which you can integrate into your degree programme.

Module selection

The options you have when selecting modules can be found in the respective curriculum. The module catalogue lists all selectable modules for your degree programme for each semester. You can register for the modules online in PAUL during a specified registration phase. Please note the deadlines.

Catch up on ECTS

If you have received the feedback that you are missing course content for a direct admission to a Master's programme, it is possible to make up for this as part of your enrolment subject to conditions. The Office for Academic Affairs will let you know which content you need to catch up on.
