Prof Dr Karina Kiepe has been Professor of Business Education, in particular Education for Sustainable Development, at the Paderborn Research Center for Sustainable Economy (PARSEC) and Department 5 of Business Education at Paderborn University since October 2023. Prior to this, she was a research assistant at the Chair of Vocational and Labour Education at the Helmut Schmidt University, University of the Federal Armed Forces in Hamburg and a substitute professor at the Chair of Business Education at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg. She studied Banking and Finance at the Berufsakademie für Bankwirtschaft and Economics, Philosophy, Values and Norms at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and graduated in 2016 with a Master of Education in Vocational and Business Education (top of her class). In 2021, she completed her doctorate with a thesis on the positions and training of company trainers in the context of social transformation processes. She is the winner of the "Vocational Education Research in Social Responsibility" award.
