Investigating the Dynamics of Accounting & Taxation
Our Chair of Tax Accounting strives to gain comprehensive knowledge at the interface between the areas of accounting and taxation. We are particularly interested in the empirical investigation of economic interdependencies. Our aim is to prepare students optimally for the challenges of modern business through excellent teaching and to broaden the understanding of complex tax and accounting issues through innovative research.
Our research
The research focus of the professorship is in the areas of business taxation and accounting, although interdisciplinary topics such as sustainability reporting are likewise of great interest. We work quantitatively, using archival data, surveys and experiments. Our research focuses primarily on corporate cost-benefit analyses.
