Our services for a supportive research environment

In order to put new research ideas into practice, bring knowledge into the world or discuss approaches and concepts with other researchers, the Faculty and the University provide funding for targeted support for their scientists.

DFG incentive system

We support postdoctoral researchers in the application process for a DFG project. For this purpose, the Faculty provides a maximum of 6 financial support grants per year, each amounting to a ¼ WiMi position for 6 months. The funds can be used flexibly (WiMi, assistants, material and/or travelling expenses).

Guidelines

Promotion of research projects and project preparation measures

Future-orientated projects can be supported with personnel and material resources, which can be converted into personnel resources if required. We offer start-up support for applications and funding for special small projects

Guidelines

Qualification programme for young female scientists

We provide funding for the academic and professional qualification of female junior professors, research assistants and suitable Master's students. The funding includes support for qualification and networking trips or the financing of personnel and material resources.

Guideline

Support for researchers with care responsibilities

We would like to support scientists with care responsibilities in reconciling science and family responsibilities. In addition to women, men are also supported. The concept of family is not reduced to parenthood, but rather to the assumption of responsibility by other people in the private sphere.

Guideline

Programme for female guest researchers

We want to increase the proportion of female researchers and lecturers and bring outstanding female researchers from different economic disciplines to the faculty. from various economic disciplines to the faculty, who can offer events, seminars and guest lectures for students and at the same time facilitate a fruitful exchange of knowledge.

Guideline

Award for work related to gender and diversity

Outstanding work relating to gender and diversity should be particularly recognised. We not only want to recognise outstanding achievements, but also send out a signal that gender and diversity are topics of crucial importance in economics.

Guideline

Further offers for equality

Our Equal Opportunities Officer ensures equal rights for women and men in all status groups and provides advice and support in cases of sexual harassment, bullying and discrimination. She is also committed to the compatibility of family, studies and career. This is reflected in a wide range of services.
