Call for proposals for the UGO Prize of the Unternehmergruppe Ostwestfalen e. V.
In cooperation with Paderborn University, the Unternehmergruppe Ostwestfalen e. V. awards prizes for outstanding Bachelor's and Master's theses written by students at Paderborn University and supervised by professors from the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics. The deadline for submissions is 31 January 2025.

Everything about the application
- Master's and Bachelor's theses from the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics for which the final examination took place after January.
- A maximum of three theses may be nominated per chair.
- Theses are honoured at the suggestion of the departmental representative who supervised the thesis.
Proposals should be sent to the Chair of the Awards Committee, Prof Dr Matthias Trier (Faculty of Business Administration and Economics). By email to birgit.petermeier@upb.de). Deadline for submission is 31 January 2025!
The awarding of prizes
The awarding of the prizes is decided by a commission consisting of
- Three members nominated by the Unternehmergruppe Ostwestfalen e. V.
- Two professors from the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Paderborn University,
- One professor from Paderborn University to be appointed jointly by the Unternehmergruppe Ostwestfalen e. V. and Paderborn University.
- The decision does not require justification. Legal recourse is excluded. The chairperson of the award committee will inform the winners of the result.
The prize is expected to be awarded at a special event organised by UPB or the Unternehmergruppe Ostwestfalen e.V. (UGO) between April and July.
