A look back at the successful BPM Winter School 2025
This year's "ERCIS Winter School for Advanced Business Process Management (BPM) Topics" brought together international encounters and knowledge exchange. Together with Prof. Dr Daniel Beverungen and Dr Christian Bartelheimer, a total of 22 students from Paderborn University, Münster, Liechtenstein and Dortmund were given the opportunity to take part in a joint exchange at the Universidad de Sevilla in Spain.
From exchanging knowledge to eating tapas
The BPM Winter School is organised every year as part of the "European Research Center for Information Systems" (ERCIS) and enables lecturers and students to exchange ideas on current business process management topics. In addition to exciting presentations, discussions and workshops on process science, workarounds in BPM and practical process automation, participants also had the opportunity to network with leading international researchers in the field.
viadee Unternehmensberatung GmbH from Münster was also on site to provide the students with input on the topic of "Automated Planning in AI for BPMers" in an exciting practical presentation. In addition to the professional exchange in a relaxed atmosphere, the programme also included some cultural highlights in Seville. A joint tapas meal and a kayaking trip rounded off the Winter School with a social and inspiring get-together.
