Graduation Ceremony 2026

“Tag der Wirtschaftswissenschaften” is the annual graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, supported by the Paderborn University Alumni Association (Paderborner Hochschulkreis e. V.). The event focuses on the graduates and PhD graduates from the past winter and summer semesters, who celebrate the completion of their studies together with their families, friends and the faculty community.

Alumni, current and former faculty members, and students are also warmly invited. “Tag der Wirtschaftswissenschaften” offers an opportunity to recognise achievements, catch up with familiar faces and engage in conversation with one another.

The next graduation ceremony will take place on 14 November 2026. Registration opens in August 2026.

Interview: 2026 Keynote Speaker

Sarah-Fabienne Latsch Keynote Speaker at "Tag der Wirtschaftswissenschaften"
What do you do for a living?

Following my commercial apprenticeship and my IBS Master’s degree at Paderborn University, I began my career at Bertelsmann in 2009.

Today, I am Senior Vice President at the TP Group and am responsible for strategic and commercial client relationships in the automotive sector worldwide. In this role, I work at the interface between strategy, innovation, growth and leadership in an international environment.

What has characterised your career path?

I am inspired by the combination of a global perspective, strategic responsibility and working with people. Particularly in times of technological change, I am convinced that, ultimately, it is always people who make the decisive difference.

What are your top tips for graduates?
  • Just do it. Opportunities often only arise once you get started.
  • Be brave. Responsibility begins where comfort ends.
  • Stay curious. Learn, ask questions, think ahead.
  • Have fun. Passion makes all the difference.
  • Success is a team effort. You can never achieve lasting success on your own!
