Spring University: Discover study and career paths in the STEM field

Whether it's interesting lectures, practice-oriented workshops or exciting excursions - Paderborn University offers pupils of various grades and school types the opportunity to get to know a wide range of degree programmes and professional fields. One of the established programmes is the Spring University, where participants gain practical insights into the fields of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology (STEM). Registration for the free programme is now open.

The Spring University takes place in the first week of the spring holidays, from 30 March to 2 April. The varied taster course in the STEM field is organised by the "Women Shaping the Information Society" (fgi) and MINT@UniPBanprogrammes at Paderborn University. During the Spring University, participants will have the opportunity to take part in lectures and workshops in subject areas such as mathematics, computer science, business informatics, chemistry, physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and chemical engineering. The taster programme is offered in two formats: The spring university "FLINTA* only" can be attended by schoolgirls in years seven to 13, regardless of their school type. All information and registration options are available at go.upb.de/frühling. At the same time, the "all gender" spring university programme is open to both female and male pupils in the upper school and can be registered at go.upb.de/frühlingalle. The registration deadline for both programmes is 8 March.
