UPB for Future: Education for Sustainable Development (ESD): Inclusion for people, animals and nature?

Location: Hörsaal L1
Organizer: Stabsstelle Bildungsinnovationen und Hochschuldidaktik

About the presentation:

How can education for sustainable development (ESD) be effectively organised through inclusive and animal-assisted pedagogy (TGI)? Based on the theoretical frameworks of human-animal studies and a broad understanding of inclusion, the lecture will show how learning processes arise that are necessary for sustainable thinking and action. The focus is on parallels and synergetic additions between ESD, inclusion, TGI and the concept of the Living School. The article illustrates the extent to which relationships between humans, animals and nature promote educational processes in the sense of sustainability.
