Two countries, two degrees, one course of study: a new dual Master’s programme run by Paderborn University and Kristianstad University in Sweden will, from the 2026/27 winter semester, enable students to undertake a combined course of study at both locations. Within the standard period of study of four semesters, students at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics can obtain both the Paderborn Master’s degree in ‘Taxation, Accounting and Finance’ (TAF) and the degree in ‘Accounting and Auditing for Sustainable Business Management’ from Kristianstad University.
“With this new programme on offer, we are expanding our dual Master’s programmes to include another exciting study location. In the winter semester 2024/25, we already launched a similar programme with the University of Ferrara in Italy, and we have also had a partnership with Tohoku University in Japan since 2015,” explained Prof. Dr Stefan Jungblut from the Paderborn Centre for Internationalisation in Business Administration and Economics. To apply for the programme, applicants must meet the standard entry requirements for the TAF Master’s programme. In addition, proof of English language proficiency at B2 level is required. There are five places available per year.
The courses on offer have been developed as part of the ‘COLOURS’ Alliance. Nine European universities are working together to strengthen their network and promote mobility within Europe. The aim is also to develop a multidisciplinary approach to tackling current societal challenges. The central coordination of all the alliance’s activities is based at Paderborn University.
