TAF-Label
Students studying B.Sc. in Business Administration and Economics and B.Sc. in International Business Studies have the option of choosing the Taxation, Accounting & Finance specialisation (TAF-Label). Provided the requirements are met, this specialisation in modules from the Department of Taxation, Accounting and Finance within the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics will be documented on the degree certificate with the addition ‘with a specialisation in Taxation, Accounting and Finance’.
Students who wish to obtain the TAF-Label (specialisation in “Taxation, Accounting & Finance”) and have this indicated on their degree certificate must inform their respective examination office by the time they complete the registration for their bachelor's thesis at the latest. This is the only way to ensure that a suitable supervisor is assigned to the final thesis.
Once the degree certificate has been issued, the election of a specialisation is no longer possible.
- For the TAF-Label, students are required to take modules in the area of “Taxation, Accounting & Finance” totalling 40 ECTS.
- A mandatory requirement for the recognition of modules is that a professor from Department 2 is responsible for the module to be recognised, or that the module is assigned in PAUL to the ‘Business Administration: Taxation, Accounting & Finance’ area during the specialisation phase.
- In addition, the 10 ECTS bachelor's thesis must be supervised by a professor from Department 2 of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics.
