As the Business Informatics study programme consists of modules from both the Institute of Computer Science and the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, it is possible that the modules from Computer Science are not fully described in the module catalogue of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics due to recent changes. You can view these in the module handbook of the Institute of Computer Science.

Students on the B.Sc. in Business Informatics can increasingly take modules in business education as part of a specialisation. The information brochure below is intended to give an impression of Business Education on the one hand, and on the other hand to show how the elective options in the profiling phase of the Bachelor's degree programme can be used to prepare for the "Master of Science in Business Education" or the "Master of Education in Business Education - Teaching Qualification at Vocational Colleges", for example. This is followed by a selection of possible prospects and career paths that can be pursued after successfully passing the Bachelor's and/or Master's examination.

You can still study in the examination regulations for the Bachelor's degree programmes International Business Studies, Business Informatics and Economics of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Paderborn University dated 11 July 2018 (AM.Uni.Pb. 19.18), amended by the statutes dated 20 January 2020 (AM.Uni.Pb. 04.20) and the statutes dated 25 April 2025 (AM.Uni.Pb. 24.25) up to and including summer semester 2029. This also means that all modules of the associated curriculum will be examined up to and including the summer semester 2029.

A change is not possible if no corresponding application has been submitted by 10 July 2025.
