Paderborn University invites high school graduates to the two-day workshop "Recognising your own abilities and interests - developing ideas for choosing a course of study" on 1 and 3 July. The event will take place from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the university campus. Participation is free of charge. The workshop is aimed at young people who are interested in studying but are still unsure which degree programme is right for them. In the workshop, they can take an in-depth look at their professional future and explore their skills, abilities and interests. "In individual and group exercises, the participants develop their own profile in order to develop concrete ideas and steps for choosing a degree programme," summarises Annika Ballhausen from the Central Student Advisory Service.
Sixth form students who want to think about their future plans in good time before leaving school are also invited. Students can apply for exemption from classes for the workshop. The university will issue a certificate of attendance.
