About the lecture:
In the winter semester 2024/2025, the sustainability lecture "UPB for Future" was expanded into the sustainability module "UPB for Future". Since then, students have been able to attend supplementary courses on the topic of sustainability as well as a final workshop as part of the additional qualification. The content of the module is designed and developed by an interdisciplinary project team. The individual team members give lectures on sustainability-related topics in the faculties and at the PLAZ and are available to students as contact persons.
In the kick-off, the interdisciplinary project team "UPB for Future" introduces itself and provides an insight into the diversity of the various disciplinary perspectives on the topic of sustainability. Together with the project management, they will present the "UPB for Future" sustainability module, a course that anchors sustainability in Paderborn University's degree programmes across faculties, brings students together on an interdisciplinary basis and enables a holistic view of sustainability beyond their own subject area.
Interested parties and students will receive important information on participating in the lecture series, completing the sustainability module and obtaining a certificate. After the lecture, there will be an opportunity to get advice from members of the project team and to talk to each other.
All information about the new sustainability module can be found here.
