About the presentation:
Leadership is a promising mechanism for sustainable development that thrives on intrinsic motivation, mutual trust and belief in a shared vision. After all, a comprehensive (economic, ecological and social) sustainability transformation starts with individual and collective values, attitudes and behaviours.
In research on leadership and sustainability, there is still no uniform understanding of how and on the basis of which criteria sustainable leadership can be defined. Together, we will take a look at different understandings of leadership and use several dimensions to discuss how leadership decisions and processes must be designed to ensure the long-term well-being of human and natural systems.
