Traffic accidents caused by delivery services, reusable parcels in online retail or climate policy for central banks: at this year's Excellence Forum, students from the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics had the opportunity to present the topics of their own research.

The Excellence Forum 2024 took place on 21 June and served as a platform for excellent students to present their academic work for the second time. In the Excellence Programme, students receive intensive support from the chairs and take part in workshops on scientific work and writing as part of Eileen Brandt 's Excellence Seminar.

The forum began with an exciting poster presentation in front of an audience of professors, staff and students from the faculty. The aim was to receive feedback on the current status of the work in the subsequent group discussions and to open up new perspectives in a collaborative exchange.

In addition to the interim presentations by participants from 2024, the event also focussed on students from the previous year. For them, the Excellence Forum 2024 was a closing event and the official end of their participation in the Excellence Programme. Prof. Dr. H.-Hugo Kremer, Professor of Business and Vocational Education at Paderborn University and responsible for the programme, presented the certificates in recognition of the students' achievements.

Hugo Kremer is delighted with the success of the Excellence Forum 2024 and emphasised the day as a unique platform for students to present their research work and showcase their achievements. The Excellence Programme thus sponsors diversity in the economic sciences in particular, as well as interdisciplinary discussions.
