On Tuesday, 3 June, garage33, Paderborn University's start-up centre, is hosting the popular "Meet the Start-ups" event for the third time. Investors, company representatives, people interested in founding a company and anyone who is enthusiastic about start-ups and innovative ideas are invited. The Start-up Campus OWL opens its doors at 4.30 pm and the stage programme starts at 5 pm. Admission is free, free tickets are available on the event website.
More than 30 start-ups, new ideas and personal insights
Visitors can expect a varied programme with plenty of room for exchange and inspiration. Firstly, ten up-and-coming start-ups will present their business ideas in short two-minute pitches on stage. One of them will be conwerk, which aims to provide new impetus for sustainable construction with its zero-waste construction technology for modular homes. The programme will be complemented by flashlight interviews in which three selected teams will provide insights into their everyday life as founders, current projects and important milestones.
The stage programme will be followed by the event's own trade fair, where more than 30 start-ups will present their innovations. In addition to the construction industry, teams from fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), medicine, logistics, education and future technology will also be represented. The "Meet the Start-ups" trade fair offers guests the opportunity to talk directly to founders, get to know their products and services and make new contacts.
