We will host Dr. Tom Fischer, Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions in company CLAAS, as a guest lecturer in master-level module "IFRS Group Accounting". Dr. Fischer will provide interesting insights into accounting aspects of M&A transactions. He will present practical challenges of the purchase price allocation, goodwill accounting and impairment. He will be accompanied by our former student Mr. Fabian Amsel.
