On Wednesday, 17 July, Professor Dr. Jan Riepe, holder of the Professorship of Finance and Accounting, will give his inaugural lecture entitled: "From Cannabis to Cherokee". The inaugural lecture begins at 4 p.m. in room Q0.101. University members and other interested parties are cordially invited to attend the lecture and the reception afterwards. Jan Riepe has held the Chair of Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Paderborn University since 2024. His research focuses on transparency, regulation and social dynamics in the financial sector. In particular, Riepe analyses the effects of regulatory frameworks on companies and society. His research also focuses on diversity and corporate decision-making.
