On Wednesday, 2 July, Prof. Dr. Daniel Baumgarten, holder of the Chair of Macroeconomics with a focus on globalisation, will give his inaugural lecture entitled:
"Globalisation without a future or the future of globalisation?"

Daniel Baumgarten has held the Chair of Macroeconomics and Globalisation at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Paderborn University since April 2024. His research focuses on the effects of globalisation on labour markets, wages and economic inequality. He analyses key issues at the interface between the international economy and social development - and what this means for the future.
