Programme-specific information on the B.Sc. International Business Studies
A change of second language is possible until the end of the first semester. In the event of a change of second language, students must notify the Examinations Office and the two language lecturers of the second languages involved in writing. The content that was missed in the new second language before the change must be completed independently. There is no entitlement to an extension of the assessment phase beyond the four semesters due to the change of second language. The second language chosen at the end of the first semester must be taken throughout the entire Bachelor's degree programme. A further change is therefore excluded.
You can find out here which requirements you must fulfil in order to receive the label "with a focus on Taxation, Accounting & Finance" on your certificate.
Students on the B.Sc. International Business Studies programme can increasingly take modules in business education as part of a specialisation. The information brochure below is intended to give an impression of business education on the one hand and on the other hand to show how the options in the assessment and profiling phase of the Bachelor's degree programme can be used to ideally prepare for the "Master of Science in Business Education" or the "Master of Education in Business Education - Teaching Qualification at Vocational Colleges", for example. This is followed by a selection of possible prospects and job profiles that can be pursued after successfully passing the Bachelor's and/or Master's examination.
The catalogue of specialisations in Business Education can be viewed here as part of an information brochure (as of November 2015).
General information on course content and the study plan, admission requirements, application information, career prospects and the start of the programme can be found on the programme website.
