The double master program provides, within the study period of four semesters, the opportunity to complete not only a master degree in MSc International Economics and Management but also in the Global Program in Economics and Management (GPEM), in connection with the University of Tohoku. This program both begins and ends at the University of Paderborn, meaning both the second and third semester are spent at the partner university in Japan. As a student of Paderborn, an exemption applies for the costs of tuition at the partner university. Furthermore, the costs of obtaining Japanese language courses within the language institute at the Ruhr University in Bochum will also be financed by the faculty of Business Administration and Economics. The program begins in the winter semester of 2016/2017.
