The Erasmus+ project "SUSTAIN-EU - European Sustainability Expert" is an international vocational training project that aims to promote employability and adaptability to changing work environments. It trains individuals to become sustainability experts to drive transformative change in companies and organisations. The focus is on further education and retraining to address the skills shortage and support a sustainable future in line with the EU Green Deal and the European Skills Agenda. Especially in vocational education, the project plays a key role in imparting skills for the digital and green transition and promoting the transition of young people into working life and the further development of professionals.
In addition to us as conceptual, didactic and university partners, the project consortium consists of:Instituto de soldadura e qualidade, Portugal (coordinator), Spectrum Research Centre CLG, Ireland (educational and testing partner), Grupul Pentru Integrare Europeana, Romania (NGO, educational and testing partner),Berufsförderungsinstitut Burgenland Austria Burgenland, Austria (educational and testing partner), CONFIMI Industria Basilicata - Associazione del l'Industria Manifatturiera e dell'impresa privata di Basilicata, Italy (educational and testing partner).
The project has a duration of 24 months.
