The article " Matching Strategies of Heterogeneous Agents under Incomplete Information in a University Clearinghouse " written by Dr. Britta Hoyer and Nadja-Stroh Maraun has been published in the journal "Games and Economic Behavior". In their paper, the authors analyse how participants behave in the assignment process for Bachelor's and Master's theses - whether they change their preferences strategically or state their true preferences. It is shown that even though many participants try to behave strategically, they do not increase their chances of receiving their preferred assignment. This is mainly due to the lack of information about the preferences of the other participants and the mechanism itself.
