TAF Research Seminar, Jochen Hundsdoerfer
On January 29, 2019 Jochen Hundsdoerfer (Freie Universität Berlin) held a presentation at the TAF Research Seminar. The title of his presentation was: 'Corporate Taxes and Firms‘ Cost Behavior: The Role of Conforming Tax Planning'.
Jochen Hundsdoerfer is a professor of business taxation at the Freie Universität in Berlin. He studied Business Administration between 1987 to 1988 at the Freie Universität in Berlin and since 1988 at the Université de Nice in Nizza (France). He received his Diploma of Business Administration during his studies at the University of Hamburg in 1992. Four years later he obtained his doctorate from the Freie Universität in Berlin.
In his research Jochen Hundsdoerfer investigates the tax effects on business and household decisions. His current research interests are the BEPS-project or topics in Tax Accounting. In addition to that, he actively contributes to the German Academic Association for Business Research, to the Arbeitskreis Quantitative Steuerlehre e.V. (arqus) and to the scientific board of the ‘Berliner Steuergespräche’.
Moreover, he is an editorial board member of the Journal of Business Economics, ‘Die Betriebswirtschaft’ and Business Research. Additionally, he is part of the tax committee of the ‘Industrie- und Handelskammer’ in Berlin. Jochen Hundsdoerfer is a visiting professor of Business Administration and Accounting at the European School of Management and Technology.
