The textbook“Banking Policy – A Market-Oriented Introduction” (Paul/Horsch/Kaltofen/Uhde/Weiß, 2024) is used as the accompanying textbook for the modules in the Master’s programme.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that, due to the Chair’s research semester , the classes “Methods of Financial Economics”, “Finance” and “Banking” will not be on offer as face-to-face courses in the winter semester 2026/27 and will be open exclusively to students retaking these modules. 
The “Stock Market Simulation Seminar” will take place in person as usual.

Note: This module takes the form of an internal research colloquium organised by the chair, held at three-weekly intervals, and is primarily aimed at research assistants at Prof. Uhde’s chair. PhD students and undergraduates with an interest in empirical methods in the field of ‘Banking & Finance’ are always very welcome! Further information can be found here.

Since 2015,students on the B.Sc. in Business Administration and Economics and the B.Sc. in International Business Studies have been able to take the specialisation in ‘Taxation, Accounting and Finance’.

This specialisation is indicated on the degree certificate by the addition of ‘with a specialisation in Taxation, Accounting and Finance’.
