At the IFRS Group Accounting course (which is part of the TAF Master Program), we had the pleasure of hosting a guest lecture on goodwill accounting, led by M&A experts from CLAAS KGaA mbH. Dr. Tom Fischer and Fabian Amsel (alumnus of @UPB WiWi) shared valuable practical insights, presenting a compelling case study on a fictitious takeover of a start-up.
The session sparked thoughtful discussion and it was fantastic to see our students actively engaged throughout the lecture.
