We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Ibrahim Fares on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 09:15 am. As part of the module “Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestures”, Mr. Ibrahim Fares will give a guest lecture.
He currently works as M&A Finance Manager at Metro AG. After succesfully graduating from our International Economics and Management Master program Ibrahim completed an internship in valuation and transaction advisory at a renowned financial service company. He expanded his skills with a 2-year trainee program at an energy company. He gained valuable experience in various departments before joining the Business Controlling department.
Through his diverse experiences, he realized his passion for project work related to mergers and acquisitions. Consequently, this led him to his current position at METRO AG. He will talk about the typical life cycle of an M&A transaction, including practical aspects of due diligence and valuation processes as well as purchase price allocations.
