On 16 June 2025, students from the TAF Master course IFRS Group Accounting of Prof. Dr. Urska Kosi took part in an excursion to Dr. Oetker in Bielefeld. In addition to a guided tour and a shared lunch, the visit provided diverse insights into professional opportunities and current challenges in the finance and accounting sector.
We would like to extend our special thanks to Clara Reed, who accompanied the group throughout the day and shared her personal career path and experiences at Dr. Oetker. During the visit, the students gained further valuable insights into the world of work at Dr. Oetker from Fiona Pagenstedt, Ilka Dubbert and Tobias Reiche.
As part of a workshop, students collaborated in groups to develop ideas on topics including:

- Accounting & Big Data
- Cybersecurity & Finance
This excursion offered a valuable look behind the scenes of a successful international company and highlighted the growing importance of digital skills in the finance sector of the future.
