The Association for Information Systems (AIS) serves society through the advancement of knowledge and the promotion of excellence in the practice and study of information systems. Established in 2019, the AIS Distinguished Member program recognizes members who have made a significant impact on the association. For his sustained membership in the AIS, his year-long leadership roles for the Special Interest Group on Services (SIGSVC), his editorial jobs for conference tracks and journals, and for his publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, AIS has recognized Daniel Beverungen as part of the first cohort of AIS Distinguished Members. For details on the AIS, the award program, and a list of the AIS Distinguished Members, please refer to the AIS Page.
