Eugen Dimant was awarded the Heinz-Sauermann-Prize for experimental economic research 2015/16 for his dissertation "Economic of Corruption and Crime: An Interdisciplinary Approach to Behavioral Ethics" by the Gesellschaft für experimentelle Wirtschaftsforschung e.V.
