The role of law in the economy
The legal factor not only has a decisive influence on the creation, production and distribution of goods and on the establishment, financing and management of economic and social organisations that provide these goods, in particular companies. Rather, the law itself is an expression of economic conditions and requirements. It is precisely this approach to welfare economics that demonstrates its interdisciplinary significance in teaching and research at Paderborn University, as it is at the centre of the Department of Law in the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics.
