For the first time, we offer a master seminar with focus on "transfer pricing". It is designed as a block seminar (German language, 5 ETCS). Having Dr. Claudia Dahle as a lecturer, we were able to win an experienced tax consultant from one of the Big4-Companies.
Transfer pricing continues to remain on the agenda – including in Germany, where the tax authorities continue to look thoroughly at all aspects of transfer pricing. This applies to many foreign countries as well. The goal for taxpayers is not only to avoid adjustments to transfer prices that affect income and thus the tax burden, but to take full advantage of the opportunities arising from structuring TP arrangements appropriately. PwC supports companies in all phases of transfer pricing structuring: from strategy development and design through to implementation and ongoing monitoring. PwC’s transfer pricing experts assist companies with tax audits and tax court proceedings. They also have the necessary experience to advise companies on the conclusion of advance pricing agreements (APAs) and on mutual agreement or arbitration procedures. (Source: PwC)
In the course of an introductory lecture, the basic principles of transfer pricing will be transmitted and augmented with practical experience. During the second phase of the seminar, the students independently prepare a research paper on the subject of transfer pricing.
As of now, students can apply via PAUL. As this course has a restriction on the number of participants, it is recommended to apply during the first registration period.
