TRR 266/TAF Research Seminar

On 20 April 2021, Maximilian Zieser (Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria) and Professor Dr. Eva Eberhartinger (Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria) presented at the TRR 266/TAF Research Seminar on the topic "The Future of Tax Audits? The Acceptance of Online-Based, Automated Tax Audits and their Effects on Trust and Power". This paper is a joint work with Paul Brezina (Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria).

Eva Eberhartinger holds a chair in Tax Management. Prior to her position at WU, she was a full professor for tax accounting at the University of Münster (Germany). She held visiting positions at the University of Exeter (UK), the University of Urbana-Champain (US), HEC Paris (France), McGill University (Canada), HEC Montréal (Canada), the University of Malta (Malta) and Macquarie University, Sydney (Australia).

In her research, she focuses on the effect of tax on management decisions, in particular in multinational groups.
