On July 11, 2023, Simone Euler (Humboldt-University Berlin) presented the paper "Country level private firm transparency and M&A transactions" at the TRR 266/TAF Brown Bag Seminar.
She is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Accounting and Auditing at the Humboldt-University Berlin. Her research interest is in the area of private firm transparency, as well as in the relation between NGO lobbyism and non-financial information.

As part of a TRR 266 research stay, Pia Stoczek spent 3 months at the ICSTE-IUL Business School in Lisbon. During her stay she was able to participate in the research seminars of the ISCTE-IUL Business Research Unit and also had the opportunity to present her work at a workshop. She got to know the differences in PhD education between European Universities and bonded with other PhD students at ISCTE over their mutual motives and struggles.…
On July 7, 2022, the 2nd annual TAF Master get-together took place. Almost 40 participants took the opportunity to exchange ideas and spend a pleasant time. The TAF Department attaches great importance to a lively exchange and good cooperation. The annual get-together makes an important contribution to this.
