She is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Accounting and Auditing at the Humboldt-University Berlin. Her research interest is in the area of private firm transparency, as well as in the relation between NGO lobbyism and non-financial information.

As part of a TRR 266 research stay, Pia Stoczek spent 3 months at the ICSTE-IUL Business School in Lisbon. During her stay she was able to participate in the research seminars of the ISCTE-IUL Business Research Unit and also had the opportunity to present her work at a workshop. She got to know the differences in PhD education between European Universities and bonded with other PhD students at ISCTE over their mutual motives and struggles.…
