As part of a TRR 266 research stay, Pia Stoczek spent 3 months at the ICSTE-IUL Business School in Lisbon. During her stay she was able to participate in the research seminars of the ISCTE-IUL Business Research Unit and also had the opportunity to present her work at a workshop. She got to know the differences in PhD education between European Universities and bonded with other PhD students at ISCTE over their mutual motives and struggles. Getting out of her comfort zone and living and working in another country where she did not speak the language was an extremely valuable experience.
