On Wednesday, 22 January, Prof. Dr. Daniel Reimsbach, holder of the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Reporting, Governance, Sustainability, will give his inaugural lecture entitled: "Puzzle pieces for change: Shaping sustainability with reporting and governance?" The inaugural lecture begins at 4 p.m. in room Q0.101. University members and other interested parties are cordially invited to attend the lecture and the subsequent reception. Daniel Reimsbach has held the Chair of Business Administration and Economics, in particular Reporting, Governance and Sustainability, at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Paderborn University since October 2020. His research focuses on the integration of sustainability into business decision-making processes, the development of reporting standards and the role of governance in sustainable business models.
In addition, Reimsbach deals with the connection between sustainability goals and accounting, the communication of sustainability performance to stakeholders and the operationalisation of sustainability-related strategies. His academic work aims to develop practice-orientated solutions for companies that want to combine ecological, social and economic goals.
He also specialises in teaching these topics to students. In his courses, such as "Sustainability Accounting and Reporting", he promotes the skills of the future generation of decision-makers in a rapidly growing and future-oriented professional field. Daniel Reimsbach thus makes a significant contribution to the development of sustainable strategies and supports companies and future professionals in shaping a responsible and sustainable economy.
