The TRR 266 Mini Conference "Accounting for Transparency and Capital Markets" took place from 30 September to 1 October 2021 at Paderborn University.

At the Conference, Urska Kosi presented a paper with the title "Does private firms' disclosure affect public peers' information environment?". The paper is part of the TRR 266 project B02 which investigates the transparency of private firms. The paper is coauthored with Bianca Beyer (HU Berlin) and Vanessa Flagmeier (University of Passau). It investigates potential information spillover effects from private firms’ disclosure to their publicly listed industry peers.

Furthermore, Pia Stoczek and Kevin Krüger presented two papers that are part of the TRR 266 project B09 which focuses on transparency in the debt market. Both papers are coauthored with Urska Kosi and Benedikt Franke (Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg). Pia Stoczek presented the paper "Activity in the European corporate bond market" which descriptively presents the corporate bond market segments based on the data from ESMA. Kevin Krüger presented the paper with the title "Private firms in the European corporate bond market" which examines the effect of financial reporting transparency on private firms’ access to the bond market.
