Application for a Final Thesis

At the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics bachelor and master theses are allocated through a central web-based system. The Departments ‘Management’, ‘Taxation, Accounting and Finance’, ‘Economics’ and ‘Human Resource Education’ participate in the process. Its objective is to spread the number of final thesis evenly and adequately to supporting capacities among the participating chairs.

At the same time the student’s preferences relating focuses are taken into account. The system does not replace an official exam registration, but first of all serves to spread the final theses among the four participating departments. The allocation of students to their supervisors takes about 1-1,5 months.

Afterwards you are going to receive an E-mail with information about your acceptance and supervisor. A registration for final theses is on this page possible.

If you have any organizational questions about the central application procedure, please contact abschlussarbeiten [at] wiwi.upb.de. For questions relating particular requirements of the chair please directly contact the secretariat.
