As a recognition of her extraordinary scientific achievements, the University of Bremen awarded Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Caren Sureth-Sloane (Paderborn University) with an honorary doctorate.
The dean of the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics of the University of Bremen, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jochen Zimmermann, argues: “Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Sureth-Sloane greatly contributed to the development of business theory, especially in business taxation, and accompanied the theory with empirical findings.
