Finally, the time has come! Graduation Journey Day is the highlight of a hard-working and memorable time for many students. This year, 180 graduates celebrated their graduation with their friends and family. In small groups, the graduates walked through various stations that were meant to reflect on the study experience.
In addition to classic recollections such as the "Ersti-Tüte" or a small university party, the participants watched video greetings from the president of University Paderborn, the dean, the student councils and other university members. Afterwards, the most important event took place - the presentation of the certificate. All graduates received a decorative certificate from representatives of the faculty. The classic gown and barrette were not to be missed! After this meaningful ceremony, it was time to celebrate. As a feature of Paderborn, all participants could visit the Mini-Libori and have fun with their guests, take pictures and even win prizes from the Unishop.
If you thought that was all, you were wrong. In the evening, the real party has started! The Faculty of Business and Economics organised a gala dinner with food, music and, above all, a good atmosphere. Here, graduates with the best degrees were honoured separately. One of them was our former colleague Fabian Peitz, who was the most outstanding graduate of the year in the Master's programme in Taxation, Accounting and Finance. We are very pleased and wish Fabian congratulations and all the best for the future!
