The current pandemic surely impedes the possibility to exchange current research results and new ideas with our international colleagues to some extent. However, it could also enable the community to find new paths to share information via digital channels.
Thanks to Emin Karagözoglu, associate professor at Bilkent University, the Chair of Microeconomics could participate at the 4th BEET (Bargaining: Experiments, Empirics, and Theory) workshop, which had to go virtual this year. As the workshop should have taken place at New York University (NYU), tired eyes were inevitable for Claus-Jochen Haake, Papatya Duman and Thomas Streck, who listened to the talks at Eastern Standard Time.
Plenary speakers Tore Ellingsen (Stockholm School of Economics) and Antonio Merlo (NYU) gave interesting insight to recent considerations on how to connect bargaining and justice and on a rather data-driven approach.
Once again, we would like to thank Emin Karagözoglu for inviting us and giving us the opportunity to keep in touch with the bargaining community.
