At the start of the autumn semester, Prof. Dr. Bartlitz took up a permanent visiting professorship at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest. He researches and teaches there in the Department of Private Law, which is headed by Prof Dr Zoltán Csehi, a judge at the European Court of Justice. The visiting professorship is funded by the Erasmus programme of the European Union. Special thanks go to Associate Professor Dr. Ferenc Szilágyi, who organised everything on site in Budapest and is largely responsible for making the partnership possible.
Prof Dr Bartlitz will initially hold lectures on European antitrust law and a lunchtime lecture on European capital market law in Budapest. The plan is to establish a permanent research and teaching cooperation between UPB and Pázmány University.
