The 18th edition of the textbook founded by Eugen Klunzinger, "Einführung in das Bürgerliche Recht" (Introduction to Civil Law), has recently become available on the book market. For the first time, Prof Dr David Bartlitz from UPB and his academic teaching partner Prof Dr Jochen Hoffmann from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg are co-authors of the new edition. The new edition takes into account all the latest developments in civil law, such as the new provisions of the German Civil Code (BGB) on consumer contracts for digital products (such as apps and software) and the amendments to sales law.
The book is available for purchase in bookshops and for loan from the UPB university library. The textbook has a strong didactic focus, combined with comprehensible language to make it easier for students to enter the world of civil law.
