We are pleased to announce that Professor Mirbabaie has published two papers (in German) together with his co-authors in the journal HMD Praxis der Wirtschaftsinformatik.
They have conducted in the first paper “Affordance-Experimentation: Eine Fallstudie zur Entwicklung von Virtual-Reality-Anwendungsfällen im Unternehmenskontext“ a case study examining the introduction of virtual reality use cases in the corporate context. Their results reveal that, especially with emerging technologies, an experimental phase is necessary to uncover possible courses of action and generate use cases from them. Their study explores three action possibilities for virtual reality in the corporate context and a previously unknown activity of the experimentation phase could be identified.
The second paper " Ausgestaltungs- und Anwendungspotenziale von Virtual und Augmented Reality Technologien im Kontext von Coworking Spaces", deals with the targeted use of virtual and augmented reality technologies in the context of coworking spaces. The aim here is to promote interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and collaboration both in CSPs and location-independently. Therefore positive effects that can be achieved through the use of one of the two technologies in the context of CSPs will be presented in order to provide concrete design recommendations for application developers, companies and operators of CSPs.
