General information

The Asian Region is currently gaining in both economic and cultural significance, and its economic growth is perceived as increasingly important to Europe. The ASBE program offers an ideal opportunity for students on any of the Faculty's Master programs to steer their career in this direction by opting for a study focus on Asian Studies in Business and Economics. When applying to this option it requires spending a winter semester at one of our partner universities in Asia.

VET-track: At Tongji University (Shanghai/China) students on the Masters Economics Education additionally have the opportunity to gain credits in economics teaching as part of their studies.

Tohoku University study places: Each year, Tohoku University can only offer one study place at Masters level. However, unlike the other partner universities, Bachelor students can also apply here, including for a DAAD bursary.
