Emotional experience and emotion regulation of prospective pre-service teachers (EmELeVo)

Emotions and dealing with emotions are of high relevance, especially for prospective teachers, as the preparatory service is a phase that is highly charged with emotions. A lack of competence in dealing with emotions can have negative consequences (stress, burnout, etc.). The research project "EmELeVo" investigates the emotional experience of trainee teachers at a direct point in time of the emotional experience in a real situation using the experience sampling method and aims to develop a preventive (during teacher training) and accompanying (during the trainee service) concept for the promotion of emotion regulation.
