Sales planning with 3D and Virtual Reality - If the Ruhrgas AG should realize this project, the Planning managers and salesman will be able to fly in the future could get a three-dimensional map of Germany. On this map they can find/regain their customers and can find out at first sight where target customers are present. Because the gas sales depend very strongly on the topical temperatures, these are also visualized on the map. In addition, contract data, sales statistics and further information of the customers should be retrievable. The purpose of the project is to simplify the information retrieval for the employees and to uncover early future problems. Within the scope of the target concepts prototype of the software was also developed.

The University for the Information Society
