On September 28th, 2023, Dr. Henning Giese gives a presentation on „Tax complexity, tax department structure, and tax risk“ at the Herbsttagung der Kommission Betriebswirtschaftliche Steuerlehre im VHB e.V. at the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt in Ingolstadt.

On September 8th, 2023, Dr. Henning Giese gives a presentation on „Towards Green Driving - Income Tax Incentives for Plug-In Hybrids“ at the 10th Annual MannheimTaxation Conference at the ZEW in Mannheim.

On July 20th, 2023, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c Dr. h.c. Caren Sureth-Sloane gives a presentation on „Abschreibungen als Mittel der Investitionsförderung: Fragebogen sucht amtliche Statistik“ at the NeSt inaugural conference at the Federal Ministery of Finance in Berlin.

The annual TAF Master get-together will take place on 7th June 2023 at 6pm. Use this opportunity for networking, sharing experience and spending a pleasant time together. The TAF Department attaches great importance to regular exchange and good cooperation. The annual get-together makes an important contribution to this. We hereby cordially invite you to attend. Am 24.01.2023 hielt Herr Dr. Christian Farruggio, Senior Manager, Risk Advisory, Deloitte GmbH Düsseldorf, im Rahmen des Moduls "Bankwirtschaft" von Prof. André Uhde einen Vortrag zum Thema: „CRR III“:  Wesentliche Änderungen und ihre Implikationen für die Kreditwirtschaft im Überblick Der Vortrag fand am 24.1.2023 von 17:30 - 18:30 Uhr im Hörsaal H1 statt. Alle Interessierten waren herzlich eingeladen.

Leider muss der Gastvortrag von Frau Dr. Astrid Herrmann abgesagt werden.

As part of the module "Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestures" Dr. Veit Ostmeier from Beiersdorf, gave a guest lecture on 17. November 2022 from 09:00-13:00 with the topic: Insights into the strategy and challenges of Accounting and Consolidation. The guest lecture is part of TRR 266.    

At 11. November Amira Shala and Elena Gilles from PwC will gave a guest lecture in the module "Financial Accounting I". The topic will be "The Sustainability Jungle: Non-financial reporting for financial institutions".    

Finally, results of the CHE ranking have been published. We are proud to announce that the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Paderborn University has once again achieved outstanding results.
