Our mission is to promote a comprehensive understanding of the complex world of corporate taxation. We place particular emphasis on first-class research that helps to analyse current tax challenges and develop solutions for the ever-changing economic landscape. Our professorship offers an open environment for co-operation, conferences and discussions to create synergies between theory and practice.

Our research

The professorship's research focuses primarily on the (quantitative) analysis of tax effects or tax planning. The focus here is on the influence of taxation on business calculations.

TRR 266 ACCOUNTING FOR TRANSPARENCY

We are part of the supra-regional Collaborative Research Center, which has more than 100 dedicated researchers investigating how accounting and taxation influence the transparency of companies and how regulations and corporate transparency affect the economy and society.

CETAR

The Center for Tax and Accounting Research (CETAR) is a center of excellence that researches valuable insights into the impact of tax, accounting and related regulatory systems on business decisions.
